Shower and change clothing before entering facility, Avoid avian species, Wear provided clothing and footwear, No jewelry except medical ID, Cover body piercings, Lift up to 18 pounds, Lift catch frames up to 12 pounds, Lift shavings up to 12 pounds, Stand on concrete walk, Work on wet, slippery surfaces, Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, cold environments, Wear rubber/nitrile gloves, Wear safety goggles/glasses, Wear plastic apron, Wear dust mask, Wear arm guards, Wear hearing protection when operating forklift or mowing, Follow herbicide manufacturer recommendations

Previous agricultural experience, Production experience

What You'll Do.

Catch pullets and load into trailer

Rotate tasks of catching birds for vaccination

Perform vaccination on birds

Catch birds and scan wingband for identification

Place birds in pen to be badged

Attach badge to wingweb

Remove wing and leg bands from hens

Remove badges from hens

Catch spent hens and load into trailer

Euthanize pedigree birds

Transport euthanized birds to incinerator

Load incinerator for disposal

Obtain fat samples from euthanized bird

Spread shavings on trailer floor

Clean and disinfect equipment

Perform sanitation in any area

Remove debris from houses with high pressure washer

Apply disinfectant to shavings with low pressure washer
