What You'll Do.
Proper collection and identification of eggs
Observe hens for behaviors indicating egg laying
Mark egg with appropriate hen number
Calculate and record number of eggs laid per flock
Provide daily care of flock
Calculate and record feed amounts
Weigh proper number of pounds per pen
Distribute feed for hens into feed hoppers
Obtain average weight of each flock
Collect weekly lab samples
Monitor flock for signs of injury/illness
and dispose of flock mortality
Maintain flock environment
Flush water lines weekly
Maintain pen bedding and nests
Clear dust from equipment
