Must shower and change clothing/footwear before entering facility, Must avoid any avian species, Regularly lift and stack chick boxes (wheeled dolly) weighing up to 15 pounds, Occasionally push or pull stacks of boxes up to 125 pounds, Occasionally pull/push 500 to 1000 pounds (wheeled carts), Regularly stand majority of shift (concrete floor), Use hands to handle or feel objects, Reach with hands, Balance, Bend/stoop, Close distance color peripheral depth vision, Ability to adjust focus, Work on wet, slippery surfaces, Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments, Wear ear plugs, Wear safety goggles and/or glasses, Wear face shield, Wear chemical resistant gloves, Wear waterproof apron, Wear rubber boots, Wear company provided facial covering, Wear NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators as needed, Wear cotton gloves as needed, Wear rain suits as needed, Follow safety policies and procedures, Identify, address and mitigate safety related risks

What You'll Do.

Inspect eggs for quality and fitness for incubation

Clean and sanitize hatchery and equipment

Prepare eggs for incubation by grading

Transfer pedigree eggs without mixing

Place substandard eggs for disposal

Pack eggs for international orders

Process day old chicks by counting

Deliver chicks within the complex

Enter data using a touch screen tablet

Operate high pressure sprayer

Clean and sanitize setters

Clean and sanitize hatchers

Clean and sanitize egg rooms

Clean and sanitize chick processing area

Clean and sanitize hatchery vehicles

Collect weekly hatchery monitoring samples

Fumigate specified areas of facility
