The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility., No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing., stand majority of shift (concrete floor), use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or reach with hands and balance, talk or hear, Specific vision abilities required by the job include close distance peripheral depth and the ability to adjust focus., work on wet, slippery surfaces, work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments, Safety goggles, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, ear plugs and rubber boots are required., Will be trained to recognize and comply with all safety policies., follow all applicable safety policies and procedures., Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO, Personal Protective Equipment, identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.

Must Have
Must be able to read, write and record data from setters and hatchers every three hours, Must be able to obtain scissor lift certification, Must have good communication skills to accurately convey opinions and concerns, Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.), Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines, Must use safe lifting techniques, Must regularly pull empty hatchers trays on casters weighing approximately 200 pounds, Must regularly lift dollies weighing 5 pounds, Must be able to regularly bend, stoop and reach above head, NIOSH approved N95 particulate respirators will be worn as needed, Safety glasses are required

What You'll Do.
Cleaning and sanitizing the hatchery
Cleans and sanitizes the hatchers and hallways with a pressure washer
Cleans and sanitizes the holding room
box room and approximately 200 dollies
Pull approximately 42 buggies of empty hatcher trays
write and record data from setters and hatchers
pull out approximately 36 stacks of 40 chick boxes
Properly euthanize weak/ill chicks
data entry into CHS and EDM
occasionally cleans setter tops
