What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience, Proficiency with computer applications, Regard safety as a core serving as role model for other employees and encouraging adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures, Service and quality addressing issues effectively when problems arise and taking initiative to understand root cause, then communicating / educating the team in a timely manner, Able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests
Nice to Have
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Operate powered industrial equipment
Bring raw material to coating assets
Take finished product from coating lines
Place material in certain areas of the plant
Help with general housekeeping of the plant
Move material to / from areas
Unload / load trucks / tankers
Verify materials against documents
Complete transactions to document material movement
Support inventory accuracy
Complete warehouse and departmental cycle counts
Correct discrepancies
Manage winding drum and rack inventories
Pick up and transfer material racks
Condense warehouse space
Maintain good housekeeping
Perform all assignments in a safe manner
Encourage adherence to safety practices
Correct and/or report unsafe conditions
Perform duties to continuously improve quality
Assist in equipment maintenance activities
Communicate and coordinate necessary information
Lead the recycling of materials
Support all 5S housekeeping activities
Perform other duties as assigned
