Learn more at foth.com/careers. Foth is seeking a Coastal Engineer to join our Jacksonville, FL office! This role involves engaging in field data collection and performing industry-standard coastal engineering analyses. You’ll work on a wide variety of exciting and innovative projects, learning from our experienced Jacksonville team members, and advancing your coastal engineering career with us! ## Primary Responsibilities Assist with the setup, calibration, and verification of numerical models for wave transformation, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and coastal morphology Communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders effectively, using both written and verbal means Observe construction operations and evaluate site conditions Perform industry-standard data analyses related to coastal engineering Prepare construction plans and technical specifications Assemble data and documentation to support state and federal permit applications Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including coastal engineers, surveyors, biologists, contractors, structural engineers, master planners, etc. ## Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Ocean, Coastal, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a related field from an EAC/ABET accredited program ## Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Oceanographic or Coastal Engineering from an
