Ability to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods, Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and heavy machinery, Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral, Depth Perception), Sense of Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Initial training in Garland TX location, Exposure to machinery, insulation, moving mechanical parts, moving product parts, vibration, moving forklifts, coolants, noise levels requiring hearing protection, Exposure to heat and humidity, cold, wet conditions and outside weather conditions

Must Have
High School Diploma or General Education (GED), Knowledge of Vulcan/Plasma programming, understanding of geometric tolerances, 2 years of manufacturing process experience, demonstrated aptitude for drafting standards or related technical knowledge, understanding of manufacturing methods, capabilities, procedures, and standards, Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, Ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes, Ability to identify different types of metals, Ability to understand different types of duct connections

Certificate for a two-year technical program in machine tool
What You'll Do.
Create programs and CAD drawings
Program Vulcan and Plasma machines
Communicate machining sequences
Ensure quality control processes
Read and interpret blueprints
Maintain equipment logs
Provide input into process improvements
