Engineering Tech. **Work Schedule:** Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our **Military Aircraft Group** is seeking a **CNC Programmer** to join our Prismatic Manufacturing Group in East Aurora, NY. This is your opportunity to join a high-impact team where innovation meets precision, and your expertise drives the development of cutting-edge aerospace components. As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be at the forefront of both new product development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You’ll work hands-on with milled parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance. **As a CNC Programmer, you will:** * Develop and optimize CNC Mill machining processes for both new and legacy components * Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions that meet rigorous engineering specifications * Define operation sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision part fabrication * Troubleshoot shop floor issues, including tooling, gauging, workholding, and inspection challenges * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing problems and enhance producibility * Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies * Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements * Assist in the creation of machine-ready code and be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting * Estimate setup/run times and tooling hours; contribute to cost estimatio
