Engineering Tech. **Work Schedule:** Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our team in Military Aircraft is looking for a CNC Programmer to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Technical Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY. As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be at the forefront of both new product development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You’ll work hands-on with high precision parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance. **As a CNC Programmer, you will:** * Create detailed operation sheets and CNC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies. * Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production. * Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability. * Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting. * Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications. * Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development. **To be considered for this role, typically you’ll bring:** * A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or an Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of proven professional experience * 3+ years experience CNC programming using CAD/CAM software * Experience with mill-turn
