It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ **_JOB SUMMARY:_** The CNC Machinist will produce machined parts by setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. **_EDUCATION:_** **Required:** High school diploma or GED **Preferred:** Associates degree in CNC machining ** _EXPERIENCE:_** **Required:** 2+ years’ experience in CNC set up and machining. The ideal candidate must have experience with both CNC mills and lathes with a basic understanding of CNC programs. Must have experience in machining with manual mill and lathe as well. Knowledge of basic computer software including Word and Excel. **Preferred:** 5+ years’ experience in CNC set up and machining. Experience with a lathe with live tooling is strongly preferred ** _POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification_** **Required:** * Knowledge of cutting tools * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate * Knowledge and experience with quality control tools, processes, and systems * Ability to apply basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry concepts that apply to machining * HAAS CNC program adjustments, tool setup, part setup in machine, tool offsets, part offsets **Preferred:** * Knowledge of Renishaw probing systems. * Experience in a heavy equipment/industrial manufacturing setting * Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills ** _CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)_** * Sets-up mills and lathes by loading tools; loading and indicating vises and fixtures; finding work offsets manually or with electronic probe. * Loads machine by lifting stock into position. * Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. * Maintains
