Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos., Ability to write simple correspondence., Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings., Ability to read and understand basic CNC programming G codes and M codes., Ability to use different types of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and pin gauges.
Nice to Have
Experience in modern manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc. )
What You'll Do.
Perform routine tasks in preparation for machine operations and has multiple skill level for machining activities.
Handle more complex equipment and machinery.
Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
using precision measuring instruments
and workpieces on machines
using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Set up and operate computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal or plastic workpieces.
First article inspects and spot check throughout process to ensure quality of the part
Perform plastic assembly processes – manual to complex assemblies
Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site
including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
