Must Have

10 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components or equivalent, CMM programming and operation, PC-DMIS, blueprint reading skills, GD&T per ASME Y14. 5-2009 and -2018 standards, precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, surface plate work, inspecting tight tolerance, high value components, AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems

Nice to Have

CAD system knowledge, Model Based Engineering experience per ASME Y14. 41-2012, Creo Experience, Advanced machining knowledge, Modus programming language, Design for Manufacturability and Producibility knowledge, Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight-critical hardware, Experience in Tooling design reviews to address tooling and component manufacturability on flight hardware ensuring compliance with ASME requirements

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. You will inspect development and flight vehicle components for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of providing accurate data on tight tolerance high value components to determine configuration per engineering designs. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.
