Businesses, from startups to enterprises, run their operations and applications on AWS’s multi-tenant infrastructure, as well as governments, using this same technology on private infrastructure. We are looking for a Cluster Security Manager for our private cloud infrastructure in Australia. We need someone with experience managing security of large critical installations, ideally data centers; with professional experience managing people with varying skill sets; and who can set strategy, manage budgets, lead projects, and drive improvements in our security practices and operations. You’ll lead a team of security experts , uniformed security officers, and manage the day-to-day security of our data centers. You’ll be responsible for working with our customers and Amazon teams to develop new processes, deploy new technology, and continuously improve security of our operations. You’ll be responsible for developing, tracking, and driving our key security metrics, including program reviews and testing our security controls. You’ll oversee the work of cleared and uncleared vendors, contractors, and Amazon employees, to ensure our customers’ stringent security requirements are met.
