Full Job Description
Amazon internships across all seasons are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work in office, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. The AWS Support team is seeking engineers who enjoy learning cloud technology, solving and troubleshooting complex issues, and working with customers. You will be surrounded by people that are smart, passionate about cloud computing, and believe that world class support is critical to customer success. Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you: - Learn, support, and use groundbreaking technologies - Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to common customer problems and scenarios - Work on critical, highly simulated complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services - Leverage your day-to-day customer support experience to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services - Develop the skills to drive customer communication during critical events - Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers’ technical support experience Knowledge and Support Experience Areas throughout the internship (including but not limited to): Technical Knowledge Areas - - Cloud Computing - Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VLAN, etc.) - OS (Linux and/or Windows Servers) - Security concepts / best practices Support Intern Experience Areas - - Direct interaction with AWS Generative AI (GenAI) & Machine Learning (ML) tools - Experiential learning while building and solving troubleshooting labs - Project development and delivery with AWS products and services (EC2, VPC, S3, and more) - Simulated customer cases (email, phone
