What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Working knowledge of AWS and GCP, Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, Experience with network design and connectivity, Experience with identity and access integration, Experience with cloud backup and recovery platforms (e.g., Rubrik), Strategic thinker with execution capability, Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, On-prem to cloud migrations, Datacentre consolidation or exit programs, Experience in regulated or high-availability environments, Infrastructure as Code experience, CI/CD for infrastructure

Nice to Have

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)

What You'll Do.

Deliver the organisation’s cloud platform strategy

Support the migration of workloads from on-premise environments to cloud platforms

Contribute to the design and upkeep of secure and scalable landing zones

Help ensure cloud services remain resilient

Support cloud backup and recovery solutions

Maintain data protection across hybrid environments

Reduce reliance on legacy datacentres

Accelerate cloud adoption

Advance infrastructure modernisation

Support vulnerability management

Assist with cloud migrations

Define and own the cloud platform strategy and target architecture

Support the design and maintain Azure landing zones

Support the evaluation and recommendation of cloud services and patterns

Support the migration of on-premise systems to cloud platforms

Map application and infrastructure dependencies

Identify migration paths

Support datacentre exit initiatives and decommissioning activities

Build and operate scalable cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code

and alerting across cloud environments

Ensure platforms meet availability

and recovery objectives

Support incident response and complex problem resolution

Improve reliability and automation

Own the cloud and hybrid backup strategy

Design and operate backup and recovery platforms

Ensure backup coverage

Define and validate RTO/RPO for cloud workloads

Support disaster recovery planning and testing

Embed security controls into cloud platforms

Support compliance with SOC 2 / ISO 27001

Implement least-privilege access models

Implement encryption standards

Implement policy-based governance

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work with Enterprise Architecture and the broader Engineering function; Work with cross-functional teams; Partner with SRE and Operations; Work closely with Security
