Must Have
Significant and broad public cloud experience at scale preferably with Google Cloud., knowledge of Projects, Folders, IAM and Billing within the core platform., Familiar operating with Infrastructure as Code using industry standard tooling, preferably Terraform and associated methodologies., Proficiency in utilising custom automation and scripting using tools such as G-Cloud, CLI, Bash, Python and Golang., Detailed understanding of modern platform stacks such as Kubernetes or GKE and affiliated technologies, including service mesh/ingress, CI/CD, monitoring stacks, and security instruments., understanding of networking in Public Cloud environments., Clear grasp of security considerations when operating in the public cloud., Practical understanding of financial management in the cloud and FinOps concepts.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will help to build, operate, and enhance our expanding Google Cloud environments. The Cloud Platform team is currently undertaking an initiative to establish a public cloud capability that aligns with our existing on-premise expertise. This aims to create a seamless hybrid operating model that effectively meets the dynamic needs of our Business and customers. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working on innovative initiatives and can make an immediate impact and support the continued growth of the Business. You will utilise your expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment, playing a key role in the development and support of our cloud infrastructure.
