Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure architecture supporting enterprise-scale data platform modernization and operations. Define and implement network architecture using VPCs, subnets, routing strategies, security groups, PrivateLink, and related AWS networking components. Architect and support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical systems. Develop and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform to ensure scalable and repeatable infrastructure deployments. Collaborate with cloud engineers, data engineers, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing cloud solutions. Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including performance optimization, capacity planning, and lifecycle management strategies. Establish and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational best practices. Participate in architecture reviews, design governance, deployment planning, and operational readiness assessments. Support observability, monitoring, and infrastructure health strategies across cloud environments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform architecture roles. At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments. Strong expertise in AWS networking, compute, storage, security, and hybrid cloud architecture. Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar automation tools. Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles including scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and performance optimization. Experience designing and supporting highly available, enterprise-grade cloud environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in complex distributed systems.
