Demonstrate results in the power delivery for entire servers. Deep understanding of voltage regulators (VRs) and server level power distribution. Interact with an interdisciplinary team of engineers to design, develop, validate, and launch at large scale power components used in our servers. Provide leadership for how power is delivered in our servers in a continuous effort to deliver and improve a world-class customer experience. Own the Accelerator and Mainstream Compute server power delivery design. Own the product Operation, AFR and Unsellables. Drive the power design quality. Drive the new gen Accelerator and Mainstream power architecture definition. Basic Qualifications: Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Power Electronics Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or as Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or a related occupation. In the alternative employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Power Electronics Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field and five years of experience in the job offered, Engineer, or as Computer Engineer, Electrical or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): server power system design; analog power electronics, power supply circuitry, and circuit protection; developing power component functional specifications, design verification plans, root cause analysis, and resolution; server power for cloud, enterprise, or other large-scale applications; DC-DC switch mode power supplies, circuit protection, and multi-phase CPU/memory VRs on motherboards; I2C, PMBUS, SVID, sensors, and monitoring; PCB designs with Allegro, CAM350, or equivalent.
