Key job responsibilities Collaborate with vendors/manufacturers to develop and evaluate new Fiber Optic assemblies and come up with implementation plans for rack-to-rack connectivity plans. Define and update requirements for structured cabling systems (fiber, copper, cable trays/duct banks) for network layers at hyperscale data centers Develop standards and installation guidelines for physical network/cabling deployments and structured cabling systems Assist with troubleshooting problem areas in existing or new network architecture and systems development initiatives, propose and deliver projects that have a significant business and/or customer impact Partner with fiber vendors and contractors; perform quality control and commissioning of fiber bundles and structured cabling systems Perform mitigation analysis and site inspections to validate as-built conditions, ensuring compliance with design and operational requirements Monitor network/system/link quality and build mechanism to remediate large sc
