Full Job Description

MORSE Corp is an employee owned, small business based in Cambridge, MA, Arlington, VA, and Seattle, WA with a history of fielding cutting-edge technology. MORSE boasts a specially selected team of scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver best-in-class technical solutions that solve difficult multidisciplinary problems faced by the US National Security Ecosystem.  MORSE is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join one or more projects in big data, artificial intelligence, decision systems, and their accompanying cloud applications. Our applications provide cutting-edge, algorithmic-based simulation, situational awareness, and mission planning capabilities to a wide variety of DoD customers. You will join small interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and software developers. These teams follow Agile development processes and embrace DevSecOps to ensure fast and secure delivery of software services. The Cloud Engineer will be focused on the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure working very closely with developers and using IaC. A successful candidate will have the ability to work directly with others on the team, overseeing the deployment of cloud services and compliance to security guidelines. Creative candidates who want to make an immediate impact will thrive in the MORSE environment. Additionally, the candidate must be eager to learn new technologies and stay on top of the latest cloud computing and software engineering trends. The candidate will work on a team developing new code bases that are heavily object-oriented, extensible, and maintainable. Skills and Requirements The ability to obtain a U. S. Security Clearance 2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure or GCP. Expertise in working with Terraform or Cloud Formation 2+ years of experience working with software development teams.
