Cloud Engineer **The Opportunity:** Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees. **You Have:** * Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS and Azure cloud environments, including security, automation, and scalability * Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and cloud networking configurations such as VPC peering, subnets, VPNs, and security groups * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates * Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, including preparing System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M) and maintaining compliance with DoW governance frameworks and NIST requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering in lieu of a degree **Nice If You Have:** * Experience working in DoW or IC environments * AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Google Professional Cloud Architect Certifications **Compensation** At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
