What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 4 years of experience in a Cloud Architect, Solution Designer, or Senior Cloud Engineer role, Significant experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, Good expertise in at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), Working knowledge of other major hyperscalers, Understanding of core cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity management, Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible), Familiarity with cloud-native development practices, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to define technical solutions from ambiguous business requirements, Experience with migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting) to the cloud, Consultative approach, English language B2 and higher
Nice to Have
Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect), Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architectures, Background in enterprise architecture or enterprise software
What You'll Do.
Bridge between customer business needs and technical cloud solutions
Understand customer requirements
and cost-effective cloud architectures
Guide clients through successful adoption and implementation of cloud platform and services
Partner with sales and account teams to engage with clients
Conduct discovery sessions to understand IT landscape
and non-functional requirements
Design comprehensive and optimal cloud solutions leveraging the platform and services
Develop architectural blueprints
and migration strategies
Lead technical workshops
Deliver tailored presentations
Collaborate with Sales Engineers/Implementation teams to develop and demonstrate proofs-of-concept (PoCs) or pilots
Design solutions with a focus on cost efficiency
Provide Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for cloud security
Create clear roadmaps for cloud adoption and migration
Provide architectural guidance and support to implementation teams
Stay abreast of latest cloud technologies
and architectural patterns
Contribute to the development of best practices
reference architectures
and internal knowledge sharing
Support sales team during presales phase by providing technical expertise
Build technical credibility with clients
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with sales and account teams; Collaborate with Sales Engineers/Implementation teams; Provide architectural guidance and support to implementation teams (internal or client-side)
Communication Scope
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences (C-level executives, developers, operations teams)
