Full Job Description
ASSYST is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect for our client in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for leading cloud computing initiatives and providing architectural direction across a regulated, multi-cloud enterprise environment. The Cloud Architect will oversee the design, implementation, monitoring, security and operational stability of cloud platforms, data ecosystems and AI-enabled solutions across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in multi-cloud architecture, enterprise data platforms, AI/GenAI technologies, cloud monitoring, security and compliance and platform operations. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, data and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of mission-critical cloud services and applications. Required Skills: Strong expertise in multi-cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure, applications and platform services. Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS architectures. Experience with Generative AI and enterprise AI platforms, including Gemini and Vertex AI. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics environments and data pipelines. Experience with Blob Storage, Data Lakes and structured storage solutions. Familiarity with data mesh architectures, ETL/ELT frameworks, API integrations and enterprise data standards. Expertise with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring and enterprise logging frameworks. Experience with Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, monitoring and alerting. Ability to design and implement alerting solutions using Twilio. Strong experience supporting production environments and Tier 2/Tier 3 operational support. Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs and integration patterns. Experience building and managing Tableau Cl
