Full Job Description
**Job Summary:** Support cloud-based applications and integrations, primarily the institutions’ Workday ERP system. Collaborate with other Information Technology Services teams and functional units to provide new applications, integrations, and analytics. Engage with Business Analysts and other Application Developers to understand requirements and collaborate on effective solutions. Perform programming assignments requiring an aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Write clean and reusable code. Participate in the full lifecycle of design, development, testing and deployment of applications. **Essential Functions:** * 60% Develop software for various environments with a cloud first approach. Participate in the design and development of software systems. Develop and deploy background processes and APIs as cloud services and enable end to end testing. Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to rapidly deliver software solutions. * 30% Maintain and update the existing computer services and program documentation to ensure compliance with department standards. Consult with internal and external users and software specialists to resolve problems. Evaluate office and computer processes and procedures to define and solve routine problems. Support and maintain existing applications including feature additions and bug fixes. * 10% Research, evaluate and implement cloud native tools and architectures to improve scale and performance. Take part in design research and help identify opportunities. Identify and implement technical improvements and solutions. # # **Additional Position Information:** **Education:** Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree. **Licenses/Certifications/Requirements:** None. **Experience:** Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing, deploying and maintaining cloud-based, enterprise-level applications and systems.
