What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Review and interpret licensing regulations, statutes, and guidance documents to ensure compliance with applicable standards., Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines., Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills., written and verbal communication., proficiency in online research and information familiarity with advanced search techniques is a plus., Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems., Alignment with principles of trust, integrity, and patient-centric care., Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in credentialing, compliance, or related roles (preferred in healthcare or behavioral health)., Knowledge of state licensing requirements for behavioral health professionals (e. g. , social workers, counselors, psychologists).
What You'll Do.
Review and verify state-issued licenses and credentials of new and existing clinicians using relevant state boards.
Ensure all professionals meet the requirements to accept referrals in their licensed states.
Accurately document verification outcomes and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Update clinician profiles to reflect verified status promptly.
Monitor and report any discrepancies or unethical conduct in user profiles.
Support clinicians by clarifying licensing requirements and standards.
Collaborate with the clinical team to resolve any verification issues.
