Must Have
Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, 2 years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, Current, valid, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Ohio, Competence in the area of clinical practice
Nice to Have
Master's degree, Clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing, Prior experience in clinical supervision of students, Prior experience in evaluation procedures
What You'll Do.
Provide instruction in the clinical setting
Work closely with course lecture faculty
Deliver content for clinical/laboratory sessions
Provide unit with course syllabus
Plan with agency staff
Consider clients’ needs
Complete all necessary documentation
Provide documentation to program faculty and students
Communicate concerns with students’ clinical/laboratory performance
Participate in end of semester course meetings
Provide input regarding clinical and/or laboratory components
Provide feedback regarding curriculum
Participate in preparation and maintenance of laboratory spaces/supplies
Participate in simulation role-playing
Participate in simulation debriefing
Cover a lecture (theory) or laboratory course
