Must Have
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Active nursing license in Indiana
Nice to Have
Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field, 3-5 years healthcare management, hospice, or palliative care experience, 2-5 years Medicare Hospice Certification experience, 2-5 years CHAP guidelines experience
What You'll Do.
Oversee direct and indirect patient services
Assist with budget preparation and administration
Interpret operational indicators for census changes
Evaluate team performance
Conduct annual evaluations on staff
Oversee maintenance of patient clinical records
Assure proper maintenance of clinical records
Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment
Develop and evaluate orientation program
Provide orientation for new personnel
Plan and implement in-service programs
Plan and implement continuing education programs
Assist with evaluation of organization performance
Assure quality and safe delivery of hospice services
Assist in development of organization goals
and administer policies
Assure compliance with laws and standards
Share information on changes in nursing and hospice
Promote hospice referrals
Perform other duties as assigned
