Job Description Title: Clinical Research Operations Associate (Right Hand to VP of Operations) Location: Remote – Central Time Zone alignment required Hours: Full-time Position Summary UniTriTeam is hiring a Clinical Research Operations Associate to serve as the right hand to the VP of Operations at our client, a fast-growing clinical research organization. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with in-depth clinical research experience who can independently manage projects, provide operational support, and reduce workload for the VP of Operations. The ideal candidate has performed multiple roles within clinical research operations — from coordinating trials, to patient recruitment, to contracting, to e-source design — and can bring this knowledge to drive operational excellence. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can take ownership with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Act as the right hand to the VP of Operations, providing day-to-day operational support and workload relief. Manage and execute operational projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are consistently met. Leverage expertise in clinical research operations to support patient recruitment, contracting, and study execution. Support the development and design of e-source templates and workflows. Provide oversight and input on contracts, budgets, and site-level processes. Serve as a subject matter expert across the clinical research lifecycle, including coordinator-level responsibilities. Anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues to keep projects moving forward. Develop documentation, SOPs, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience, with direct knowledge of clinical research coordinator duties, patient recruitment, and contracting.
