What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or equivalent, Sound knowledge of ethics, governance and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Experience with REDCap and clinical research databases, organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities, Flexibility to support out-of-hours work and travel between Epworth sites as required, Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, Experience working in accordance with ICH GCP and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, Experience coordinating multiple clinical research studies simultaneously, Experience managing or maintaining REDCap databases
Nice to Have
Experience preparing and managing Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and research governance submissions, including National Mutual Acceptance (NMA) where applicable
What You'll Do.
Coordinate investigator-initiated and sponsored clinical research studies from start-up to close-out
Manage study administration
including feasibility
ethics and governance approvals
data and specimen collection
reporting and study closure
Maintain compliance with ICH-GCP
TGA and organisational research governance requirements
Manage project-related finances
payments and budget tracking
Support Centre meetings through scheduling
minutes and coordination
Liaise with clinicians
CROs and service providers to support effective study delivery
Oversee database management and data integrity
including REDCap setup and maintenance
Support laboratory and specimen handling processes where applicable
Contribute to funding and grant application processes as required
