What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree, Licensed Pharmacist, 1+ years' experience
Nice to Have
Knowledge using EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software, Knowledge of complex/chronic diseases states and therapies used within specialty pharmacy: Oncology, Transplant, Hepatitis C, Infectious Disease (including HIV), Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, GI disorders (including IBD), Cystic Fibrosis, Psoriasis, Hyperlipidemia and many various inflammatory conditions (including Lupus)
What You'll Do.
Review and interpret clinician's patient care note/assessments
Develop and refine disease and drug specific clinical protocol
Monitor on-going patient adherence
Evaluate EMR for drug and disease interaction
Recommend alternative therapeutic drug regimens
Monitor and evaluate therapies for side effects
Medication therapy management (MTM)
Clinical interventions
Productivity monitoring and reporting
Oversee tech's daily activities
Identify and resolve insurance related issues
Supervise communication of support personnel
Maintain current registration
Develop own knowledge
and update relevant data
Apply observations and recommendations
Assist with research projects
