What You'll Do.

Greet patients and visitors

Collect insurance co-payments

Respond to routine requests for information

Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments

Coordinate administrative aspects for meetings

Select site locations

Arrange audio-visual equipment

Prepare meeting documents

Enter information into computer system

Coordinate patient appointments with other areas

Coordinate patient appointments with physician offices

Answer telephone calls

Screen telephone calls

Triage clinical calls

Resolve problems appropriately

Assemble patient medical records

Copy patient medical records

Release patient medical records

Work with Medical Records Department

Generate basic reports

Modify existing reports

Update existing reports

Operate office equipment

Maintain office equipment

Order office supplies

Track need for re-authorizations

Follow up on re-authorizations

Process patient registration

Obtain required information

Process billing forms

Process reimbursement forms

Process department records

Perform simple calculations
