The role ensures timely diagnosis, treatment, referral, and prevention of diseases, contributing to reduced morbidity and mortality among vulnerable populations, including women and children.** **_1\. Major Responsibilities_** **A. Clinical Service Delivery** * Provide outpatient clinical consultations for common illnesses and emergency conditions. * Diagnose and treat patients in line with national treatment guidelines and WHO protocols. * Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions. * Conduct triage and stabilization of critically ill patients. * Ensure infection prevention and control (IPC) standards are maintained. **B. Maternal, Child Health, and Nutrition Support** * Provide ANC, PNC, and basic obstetric care where applicable. * Screen and manage malnutrition cases (SAM/MAM) and refer complicated cases. * Support immunization services in coordination with health authorities. * Manage common childhood illnesses (IMCI approach). **C. Disease Prevention & Surveillance** * Support disease surveillance and early warning systems, including reporting suspected outbreaks. * Apply standard case definitions and ensure timely reporting of priority diseases. * Participate in health education and community awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. **D.
