What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, State of California Registered Nurse license, Current BLS Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association, ACLS & PALS, unit specific life safety certifications, ANCC Magnet Recognition Program-eligible certification, Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience related to clinical area of specialization, one (1) year of management, supervisory or leadership experience, Current nursing principles, theories and practices, Laws, regulations and hospital guidelines pertaining to professional nursing care of patients, Principles of CQI and ability to apply these principles including PDSA to improve unit work, Ability to promote effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries, Fiscal management skills to prepare monitor and control budgets and reduce expenses
Nice to Have
ACLS & PALS (New hires/transfers have up to six (6) months to meet requirements), ANCC Magnet Recognition Program-eligible certification (Effective 1/1/2026, incumbent has one year to obtain certification. New hire/transfers have one (1) year from date of hire or transfer to obtain certification.)
