Must Have
Master of Science in Nursing, Current unencumbered Pennsylvania registered nurse license, A minimum of three years teaching experience in nursing, with a focus on adult medical-surgical nursing, clinical background in adult medical-surgical nursing, with expertise in patient care, teaching, and clinical evaluation, Excellent verbal and written communication, Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, Exceptional interpersonal skills, High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Nice to Have
Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification preferred or willingness to complete certification within two years of employment, Earned doctorate in Nursing or Education or evidence of significant progress toward doctoral degree completion, Experience with simulation-based education and other innovative teaching strategies, Certification in behavioral health and/or medical-surgical nursing or other relevant certifications, Active involvement in professional nursing organizations and scholarly activities

Participate in curriculum development and review
ensuring the integration of evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in nursing education and medical-surgical care.
Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to foster an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare education.

Position Title: Clinical Instructor, Undergraduate Nursing Time Type: Full time Position Summary and Qualifications: The School of Nursing and Allied Health at Saint Joseph’s University’s Lancaster campus invites applications for a nine month, non tenure track faculty position to provide didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction for undergraduate nursing students, particularly in adult medical-surgical specialties. The educator will support all aspects of student learning and advising, contribute to course development and curriculum review and revision, and engage in continuous professional development to foster a supportive and dynamic learning environment. This position will include both clinical and didactic teaching responsibilities.
