What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active, unrestricted licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or equivalent), Willingness to obtain additional state licensure upon hire, At least 4 years in palliative care, hospice, or home health settings, Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical education, training program development, and quality improvement, Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance, At least one full accreditation cycle
Nice to Have
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Dual DNP/MHA, Certification in palliative care (e.g., ACHPN), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Familiarity with LMS platforms for tracking and reporting on clinical training completion, Familiarity with CAPC (Center to Advance Palliative Care) frameworks, Familiarity with NHPCO Clinical Practice Guidelines, Experience working with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, or accountable care organization (ACO) quality programs
What You'll Do.
and evaluate training curriculum
Design and deliver palliative care education programs
Integrate value-based care principles into training
Oversee simulation-based training
Lead the organization's QA/QI program
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
Facilitate performance review cycles
Analyze clinical and operational data
Support organizational adherence to regulatory requirements
Assist with implementation of policies and procedures
Remain knowledgeable regarding regulatory changes
Lead all accreditation activities
Develop and maintain accreditation readiness programs
Maintain an active clinical caseload as an Advanced Practice Provider
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner closely with clinical operations, medical leadership, Compliance Department, and executive stakeholders; Collaborate with medical directors and clinical leadership; Collaborate with the Compliance Department; Collaborate with payers and health plan partners; Collaborate effectively across geographically distributed, interdisciplinary care teams; Represent the organization in external forums, payer partnerships, and community collaborations
