12 months nursing experience, 6 months dialysis nursing experience, Registered and licensed to practice, Certified in CPR
Nice to Have
Medical/surgical nursing preferred, Supervisory experience preferred, Management experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Provide guidance to patient care staff
Provide feedback for evaluations
Participate in staffing decisions
Approve personnel schedule changes
Participate in patient care plan meetings
Maintain knowledge of dialysis principles
Train and orient staff
Guide patient care staff
Promote compliance to OSHA programs
Maintain shift operation
Conduct staff meetings
Meet with Facility Administrator
Supervise documentation of patient information
Coordinate Charge Nurse duties
Assess daily patient care needs
Develop patient care assignments
Assume responsibility in emergencies
Respond to dialysis treatments
Communicate concerns to physician
Implement changes in patient care
Monitor patient care activity
Collaborate in decisions for patient care
Monitor patient condition
Administer medications to patients
Act as subject matter expert
Supervise completion of care plans
Ensure patient educational needs are met
Educate patient and family
Supervise use of patient care equipment
Operate dialysis equipment
Perform required testing
Complete Nurse’s Technical Training Program
Assist with special projects
Assist with interviewing staff
Promote efficient use of medical supplies
Participate in Quality Assurance meetings
