One (1) year of physician office practice experience, Familiarity with medical terminology, Familiarity with professional billing
What You'll Do.
Deliver patient care in accordance with licensure guidelines
Support daily clinical operations to ensure efficient clinic function
Coordinate clinic operations
including scheduling patient appointments
Maintain provider schedules
Prepare medical records and documentation for provider review
Support provider efficiency by ensuring timely completion of notes
Support provider efficiency by ensuring timely completion of billing documentation
Document patient assessments and care accurately in the electronic medical record
Communicate abnormal findings and changes in patient condition to appropriate clinical staff
Assist with departmental policy development
Assist with compliance with billing requirements
Support clinical workflow improvements aligned with quality reporting standards
Perform clinical tasks within scope of licensure
Follow safety and infection control protocols
