Must Have
Minimum 2 years of sales, account management, or customer-facing experience, ideally within publishing, bookselling, SaaS, or independent retail, First-hand user-level familiarity with Edelweiss products, Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer orientation, Confidence discussing both bookstore and publisher operational needs, Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously, Willingness to travel periodically for industry events, retailer meetings, and conferences
What You'll Do.
Build and manage relationships with independent bookstores and industry partners throughout the evaluation
and adoption lifecycle
and account growth across assigned territories or retailer groups
Understand bookstore operational workflows
and business goals in order to position Omnibus effectively
Partner closely with Operational Solutions Engineers to guide stores through operational evaluation
Help identify retailer concerns
or adoption blockers and coordinate internally to address them
Gather customer feedback
and emerging operational needs to help inform product direction and messaging
Develop long-term retailer relationships that drive adoption

### About Edelweiss & Omnibus Edelweiss is the book industry’s leading platform for discovery, marketing, analytics, and workflow management, trusted by publishers, booksellers, librarians, and industry professionals worldwide. Omnibus is our next-generation operational platform for the book industry, bringing together inventory management, ordering, special orders, workflow tools, analytics, and operational intelligence into a unified system designed specifically for modern bookstores. We are building Omnibus in a highly iterative environment where customer workflows, operational realities, and product development are tightly connected. **About the Role** We are looking for relationship-driven Account Executives to help lead the rollout of Omnibus across the bookselling ecosystem. Success in this position comes from building trust, understanding bookstore operations, guiding stores through operational change, and acting as a long-term strategic partner to customers. You will work closely with bookstores throughout the evaluation, onboarding, and adoption process, helping them understand how Omnibus fits into their operational workflows and long-term business goals. You will also partner closely with our Operational Solutions Engineering team to help translate retailer needs, operational challenges, and customer feedback into ongoing product refinement and workflow improvements. **Why this job is unique** Omnibus is being built specifically for the operational realities and relationships that define the independent bookstore ecosystem.
