Full Job Description

**We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team.** The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position you will be supporting our Doctor and Technician teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets. * **Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week** * **Must be able to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (weekends not required)** * **Must be comfortable communicating via technology (email, text, smart phone apps, etc.)** * **Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills** * **Must have at least 1 year reception or relevant customer service experience, veterinary Client Service Preferred** * **Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!** Duties include but are not limited to: * Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome and comfortable * Effectively communicate with current and prospective clients * Effectively communicate with doctors and fellow teammates * Work closely with teammates to ensure a low stress and compassionate environment * Working closely with clients to promote long lasting and trusting relationships * Scheduling and confirming appointments * Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments * Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions * Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control) * Accurately maintain medical records, reports * Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside
