What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least one year of proven past experience helping customers in a veterinary hospital setting, High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, Excellent listening and communication skills, Compassion for pets and people, and empathy during difficult interactions, Problem-solving skills with the ability to integrate new information, Willingness to work week day’s with a flexible schedule, The ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform general hospital cleaning, as well as be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste
What You'll Do.
Getting to know clients and their pets
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups
Reaching out to prospective clients
Presenting and explaining estimates
Discussing doctor’s recommendations
Answering questions regarding products and services
Educating clients on general animal husbandry
Managing electronic medical records
Managing reports and correspondence
