Position Overview As Client Development Manager, you will help lead business development in Charlotte by building strong client relationships, generating a healthy pipeline of opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of the firm. We are looking for a resourceful, passionate, and dedicated professional who takes initiative, works well across teams, and is motivated by helping a growth-oriented firm win new work. In this client-facing role, you will collaborate with operational, marketing, and leadership teams to actively contribute to metro revenue growth by generating qualified opportunities, advancing pursuits, and helping convert relationships into awarded work. This role will also provide occasional support to nearby offices (e.g., Asheville, Greenville, and Winston-Salem), including periodic travel to strengthen regional relationships and coordination. Key Responsibilities Relationship Development ‐ Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, industry partners, and decision-makers in Charlotte with a focus on identifying, shaping, and advancing opportunities into the active proposal pipeline. Conduct client meetings, local outreach, and presentations that position McAdams’ brand, capabilities, and differentiators in the market with the goal of identifying upcoming needs, influencing project opportunities early, and positioning McAdams for future pursuits.
