What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Current registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA), Personal Support Worker Certification obtained from either an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology program or an Accredited PSW Educational Program

Nice to Have

At least one year of full-time equivalent work experience within the past three years, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, Experience working with tracheostomy and patients on ventilators

What You'll Do.

Fulfills assigned responsibilities related to patients' daily routines

Executes individualized care plans

Reports patient condition changes

Assists with psychosocial patient needs

Documents care and changes in patient condition

Operates equipment like lifts and wheelchairs

Maintains a safe environment

Working collaboratively as a team member within an interprofessional environment; Supports healthcare team

Communication Scope

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Courteous approach towards the public
