cBEYONData, a subsidiary of SMX, is seeking a Senior Data Mapping Analyst to support a federal customer's enterprise data modernization and integration initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing complex data structures across legacy and modernized systems and translating technical data artifacts into a comprehensive enterprise data mapping framework. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience working with relational databases and data models, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders across multiple systems and organizations. This role will support enterprise data architecture efforts by reviewing Data Dictionaries, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), interface specifications, and related technical documentation to establish and maintain authoritative cross-system data mappings, data lineage, and transformation rules. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of independence, providing expert-level analysis and recommendations that support enterprise integration, data governance, and modernization efforts. This role is hybrid supporting a Hanover, MD program. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Review, analyze, and interpret Data Dictionaries, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), interface control documents, and other technical artifacts from enterprise systems • Develop, maintain, and govern enterprise Master Data Mapping documentation to support data integration and modernization efforts • Document field-level mappings, transformation rules, data lineage, and relationships across multiple systems and data sources • Collaborate with system owners, database administrators, developers, business analysts, and architects to validate data definitions and resolve mapping discrepancies • Analyze source and target system data models to identify relationships, dependencies, and integration requirements • Identify data quality issues, redundancies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for data sta
