“Clean-up Laborer at Smithfield. Janitorial Duties as assigned. Clean up projects including, but not limited to, cleaning pipes, lights, beams, floors, stairs, line belts, conveyors or other production equipment as needed”
Industry & Context.
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs, capable of dumping 500lb dumpsters, Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision, wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to chemicals, Noise level is loud in the production area, hearing protection is always required

What You'll Do.
Janitorial Duties as assigned
Clean up projects including
conveyors or other production equipment as needed
primes and paints as needed
Empties trash throughout the day into dumpsters and takes to East dock
Follows assigned clean-up project list
May use hand truck and floor scrubber for assorted duties
cleans and replaces inedible containers daily as needed
Keeps department equipment clean and supplied with cleaning utensils and supplies
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor
