## Description About Syntax Data Syntax is a data and technology provider to the financial services industry. The company offers a range of unique data sets for public and private companies that organize the global economy based on systems theory. Data is delivered via complete database solutions, consulting services, indices, and turnkey technology platforms.   About the Role The Classification team at Syntax provides high quality data that enables our clients, including asset managers, registered investment advisors, and institutional investors, to make informed investment decisions with conviction.  As a Classification Data Validation Intern, you will support the building and maintenance of Syntax’s database of publicly traded companies by leveraging sources such as regulatory filings, industry reports, and proprietary research tools. This data is used internally by Syntax’s Index Development department to build financial indices, as well as externally by clients who license this data to create their own products or augment their analytics.
