What You'll Do.
Deliver ice to customers
Operate and maintain company truck
Unload ice at customer locations
Deliver ice at customer locations
Rotate ice at customer locations
Perform pre/post trip inspections
Comply with state/federal hours of service requirements
Operate vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
Participate daily in Daily Visual Management (DVM) reviews
Produce invoices for each delivery
Complete all other required paperwork
Pick up equipment as directed
Perform other operational duties
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics
Maintain high safety standards

Please make sure you are registered with the "Clearinghouse" in order to be considered for employment with Reddy Ice. ** Please click [here ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBs2vKh68-s)to view **" A Day in the Life of a Driver"** at Reddy Ice. **_POSITION PURPOSE:_** This role accelerates business values by delivering ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL Class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs. Drivers are expected to physically unload, deliver, fill and rotate ice at the customer locations. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
