Must Have
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, High School diploma or GED required, Have an acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record, Valid Medical Card, Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical, Must be able to work independently, Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment, Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable, Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work, Ability to stoop, bend, stand for long periods of time, Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Nice to Have
2 years of previous tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
What You'll Do.
transport and deliver building materials to our customers
distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
assist in the unloading of the product using a Moffett to customer’s location and/ or return products
Deliver material in “route truck/multi-drop” fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs
and other records required by law
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
and comply with all Federal
and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
Answer questions regarding packing lists
Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines

JOB DETAILS Base pay rate is $28.00 per hour Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday through Friday DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our customers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. The Ideal candidate will provide customer responsiveness and efficient material handling and delivery activities. * Safely assist in the unloading of the product using a Moffett to customer’s location
