Location: Leeds * Contract Type: Permanent / 16 Hours Per Week * Pay: £16.35ph * Days of Work & Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday - 11:00 to 07:45 Who are DPD? The Role: Master of the Yard We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 Shunter to own the night shift. You aren’t just moving trailers; you’re the conductor of a high-speed logistical symphony. * Precision Moves: Safely navigating trailers and tugs through the yard with expert spatial awareness. * Tech & Safety: Using our systems to log movements, conducting pre-use checks, and keeping our "Safety First" culture alive. * Team Synergy: Collaborating with warehouse legends and drivers to keep the flow seamless. * Agility: Helping out with inventory or local runs when things get quiet—no two nights are the same. ## Qualifications What You Bring to the Team * The Credentials: A Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E) and a current Driver CPC. * The Vibe: You thrive in fast-paced environments and actually care about the "DPD DNA" - Passion, Respect, and Accountability. * The Skills: You can maneuver in tight spots that would make others sweat.
