Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -40 degrees, Comfortable with outside yard work (changing weather conditions), Full-time permanent contract, Working a rolling average of 41 hours per week, Shift rotation with a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid Class 1 (HGV Category C+E) license for shunting duties, Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -40 degrees and outside yard work (changing weather conditions), Able to be adaptable to an ever changing work environment with varied roles and responsibilities that can differ day to day, Working level of speaking English, Ability to read English, Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers), Good attention to detail, Comfortable working in an environment that processes raw protein, Committed to food quality & safety, A supportive & helpful team member
Nice to Have
Previous experience with Counterbalance, PPT, or LLOP is highly desirable, A genuine willingness to work within a cold-store warehouse environment and undergo training on various Warehouse MHE (Reach, Counterbalance, etc.)
What You'll Do.
Safe and efficient movement of LGVs and trailer units across sites and on adjoining public roads
Manoeuvring units into storage or loading bays
Operating a variety of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)
Performing accurate stock counts and system transactions
Conducting rigorous quality checks
Working in a manner that prioritizes safety
Correctly wearing PPE and following all site procedures
Maintaining a ‘clean as you go’ approach
Contributing to the hygiene of floors
Assisting with waste processing and order packing
How You'll Work.

Participate in daily review meetings to help drive warehouse performance; Supportive & helpful team member

Working level of speaking English; Ability to read English
