Must Have
Extensive life insurance claims management experience across either Group or Retail, technical expertise across complex TPD claims, understanding of insurance legislation and frameworks (e. g. , Insurance Contracts Act), analytical skills, resilience, confidence managing complex and sensitive claims, Solid understanding of injuries, illnesses and treatment
Nice to Have
Retail (desirable), Background in law or allied health (e. g. , OT) is highly regarded

Independently manage a portfolio (35-45) of complex
and high-value TPD claims with accuracy

Apply knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and navigate additional cover complexities
Contribute to embedding best practice and shaping the success of a newly established specialist team
